Chiang Mai Treasure is an excellent three-day cycling adventure, where you will be taken to explore Doi Saket, San Kamphaeng, Bo Sang, and Chiang Mai. Participate in this exciting tour with your friends and family and have a lot of fun while riding your bike through the beautiful pathways surrounded by surreal scenery! You go through a well-planned route, riding your bike through peaceful roads, lovely parks, and some beautiful locations that will give you an impression that time had stood still in these places preserving the past.

This tour is for anyone who is healthy and capable of riding a bicycle, therefore so do not worry about not being able to keep up or being exhausted. This tour will have enough small breaks to ensure you will be able to keep up with your group.

• This tour starts every Thursday and ends on Friday.
• The total cycling distance per day would be around 50 km.

How to reach?

The Recreational Biking Chiang Mai is located south of the old city of Chiang Mai. The cheapest and easiest way to reach the starting point is to book a taxi and directly go to the location.

Itinerary

Day 1: Chiang Mai – Doi Saket

• The cycling excursion will start at 09 AM from the starting point:  Baan Nai Fun 1 in Pa-Dead.
• After a short ride, you will board the boat with your bicycle at the Ping River and reach the Northern part of Chiang Mai.
• Go to a farmhouse, drink some fruit juice and then continue the journey. 
• On the first day, you will be brought to the countryside of Chiang Mai and observe various kinds of agricultural activities.
• The route will take you along rice fields, passing by lovely local temples. 
• The whole day you will get to admire the everchanging scenery.
• You will also pass Mae Kuang Dam before taking a short break.
• At the end of the day, you will arrive at the resort. 

Day 2:  Doi Saket – San Kamphaeng

• Depart from the resort in Doi Saket and cycle to San Kamphaeng.
• Visit a Chinese cemetery and Doi Saket temple along the way.
• Take your bike along the country roads and stop at San Kamphaeng hot springs. 
• You will get to enjoy a nice lunch at the hot springs.
• After lunch, you will continue your journey through the lovely rice fields and small villages. 
• You will see people working with wood and metal handicraft. Stop by to click some amazing pictures.
• You will get to stay at a Lanna-style resort, you can enjoy a real Thai massage here (at your own cost).

Day 3:  San Kamphaeng – Chiang Mai 

• On the last day, you will take your cycle from San Kamphaeng to Bo Sang and back to Chiang Mai. 
• Lunch would be in Bo Sang, where you will get to walk around and take a look at a rice paper factory.
• Our last stop would be a local market here you will get to try delicious local snacks and fruits before you will make your way toward the ending point (also the starting point).
• 04:00: The excursion will end and you can go back to your hotel.
